Because Environmental Education Act has been established, Environmental Protection Bureau of Tainan City Government(TNEPB) carried out "The Project of Environmental Education (EE) Management and Promotion in Tainan City in 2015" for helping people in different levels understand and improve the environment they live ,and therefore making the concept of Environmental Protection implement in each aspect of our society. The main tasks of the project are shown below: 1. To execute Environmental Education policies, such as action plan or Environment Education Committee of Tainan City. 2. To set up Environmental Education workshop for people who were fined for violating law. 3. To promote and review the National Environmental Education Awards 4. To help Environmental Education Site and Instructor in Tainan access certificate of EPA. 5. To train Environmental Volunteers to enhance their professional in EE. 6. To conduct Environmental Education promotion activities. 7. To promote Environmental Badges, Carbon Label, Green consumption and so on. 8. To manage Green shop, green restaurant and green inn. The project had successfully completed all the tasks and help Tainan City Government win the highest rank of the Local Government Environmental Education Assessment and Green Consumption Assessment.
